The weekend back in Oklahoma proved to be both really fun and productive. The annual editors' retreat brought us just outside of Gore, Okla. in an intimate (and by intimate I mean really small) mobile home type cabin. I took a lot of pictures of all of us thinking I would need them for various projects, including this one. Here are the many faces of the retreat. I apologize to our Content Editor, Cassia, for she is in only one picture. She came late on the first night due to some mishaps at the airport. This is only the beginning of the semester, so I'm sure we'll all have equal weight in pictures... well except for me.
Anyway, behold!

Not sure whats going on here, but it's something that has to do with hands...

Thanks, Kristen.

Taboo makes for a good laugh.

Puzzled.

Shocked.

This is all of us during a problem solving exercise. The objective was the rotate Kelsey 360 while she held a cup of water and tried not to spill it. Easier done than said.

Look, I made my own blog!

Victory came too easily. Must be because we're bad ass.

Kels seems to be more shocked that Lori didn't think we'd be able to do it in such a short amount of time.

Workin.

Kristen literally running out of batteries. He speech suffered greatly. Oh, and there's Cassia.

Now for some portraits. I taped a speedlight on the stair case for a hair light and set a another on a stand to light their faces. A white piece of paper served to soften the shadows on the opposing side of their face, but it didn't work very well. I apologize for the weird nose shadows if it bothers anyone other than me.

I had fun shooting these. Everyone seemed pretty much game for my candid and intimate style. Those who were a bit uncomfortable at first soon warmed up. They'll get used to it since I'll be doing more of the same in the office often.
That's all for now.
Good night.
